Pantai College of Nursing & Health Science (431251-W)
In 1993, Pantai College of
Nursing & Health Science (Pantai College) was established to train nurses for the Pantai Group of Hospitals. Pantai College is the education arm of Pantai Holdings Berhad, Malaysia’s leading healthcare group with a network of eleven hospitals throughout Malaysia under two brands, Pantai Hospitals and Gleneagles Hospitals. Pantai is part of Parkway Pantai Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Integrated Healthcare Holdings Sdn Bhd (IHHSB). Pantai College main campus is strategically located in Subang Jaya, Selangor. The other centre in Ayer Keroh, Melaka assumes the responsibility to train and develop a new generation of nurses and allied healthprofessionals. |
Programmes offered by Pantai College
include a 3-year Diploma in Nursing and a 18 months conversion course for Assistant Nurses. Upon graduation, nursing graduates will be registered with the Nursing Board Malaysia where they are awarded the title of “Staff Nurse”. Pantai College has planned to offer a Post Registration Nursing Degree in collaboration with Liverpool John Moores University (United Kingdom). This collaboration allows registered nurses to further upgrade their skills and knowledge in nursing by obtaining a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Nursing. This collaboration also allows Pantai College to conduct a “Post |
Basic Intensive Care Nursing” programme.
One significant value of studying at Pantai College is the unique curriculum. Pantai College does not only focus on academic excellence but also emphasizes the finer soft skills needed to communicate empathy and caring for patients. This equips the students with the latest knowledge, quality standards and care that are synonymous with the Pantai brand. Pantai College is accredited by the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA), the Ministry of Health, the Malaysian Nursing Board and the Ministry of Higher Education. |
